after school we did some batting
the field was like damn soggy and muddy
then we did some throwing
man we took 1/2 hour to do the 100 throws thing

the whole class was like watching them argue
and i spent the whole lesson trying to sort them out; get one of them to be less bossy and the other to be more compromising.

me and amanda and rach went to parkway
nat and tessa and zai were also coming, but amanda's mum was ardy waiting for us at the foyer [she insisted on fetching us just cause it was raining.]
so we rushed to the her car
and nat, zai and tessa took the bus with siti and mardhiah
they were so pissed.
nat scolded me for like 5 mins on msn and wouldnt talk to me until i promised to buy her a cupcake and gave her my sincerest apologies.

and training today kinda rocked :DD
my throwing improved and it had been such a long time since coach zhang nvr scolded me for my mistakes in throwing.

then it started to rain

we gathered all the balls that we batted and rushed in to the void deck- then suddenly its all bright and non-gloomy.

like how dammit la.
yeah she just said i was weak again

well yesterday's training was tough.
the training had barely started and coach zhang chased me aside .
it made me really think again.
she told me that i was the only one not improving consistently
she said that i only improved alot during training but then the training after that i didnt keep up with my improvements
so when we had to throw as far as possible, i thought and thought and wanted to do it right
then i threw further than i ever did-further than i thought i could.
yeah it took me more than 1/2 a year to fully understand coach's meaning of that it's all about mentality.
and during batting on the t-stand, i was holding the bat wrongly.
we hadnt batted for a month
and when coach zhang corrected me in holding the bat, she muttered under her breath that she was sick of me.
how can i hold the bat wrongly and yet be able to bat correctly?
coach zhang praised me after that.
she's always underestimating me.
then we had to run 3 rounds for cool down
lydia sprinted like the whole of that okayy
and she was leading
so the rest of us had to sprint the 3 rounds together for coach's precautions.
so yesterday's training wasnt really my best.

i borrowed shunli's textbook to take down notes
i used my sister's old geog textbook [not blue marble] to take down notes and revise
i revised my sister's previous geog exam papers
i borrowed joanne's notes from 1e to copy down what ms foo taught them
i sacrificed one chinese lesson to revise for geog
i did assesment books
and i made like 15 pages of notes on just that chapter from the textbook
and now it's like 1/2 mark to an A
so WASTED.
whatever lah
i got only 6/25 for term2 geog anyway
so at least i made a big improvement :)

anyway, zany green parade/cross country today was FUN xD
well yesterday me, jingyi's gang, adliya, tessa, siti, huiqi, mingkit, sherlyn and a few others stayed back to design our costumes and prepare for our performance
and i was a 3D spongebob :D
viola went home to make this life-size dory which was cute
haha
and the sharks [siti and adliya] were nice too, except siti fell ill today or something, according to adliya. so there was only one shark today :)
then the parade was wild !
haha our class started saying our class cheer at the beginning of the parade, then 1e3 followed and then slowly the rest of the sec 1 classes did the same =D
and we sang spongebob squarepants
and elmo's world [1/4's world]
and we also sang under the sea
well okay me and viola were sort of leading the class in singing elmo's world
but it was all out of tune :D

then our performance was kinda unprepared but we still did our best and had lots of fun ((:
and the judges were like just smiling at us...especially at me and viola when we were singing under the sea duet

and once there was this frog
a small one
one of the teachers just used her bare hands to pick it up and toss it aside

and all sorts of cockroaches and insects were all around
and our shoes got pretty muddy...

basically the setting is valentine's day and amanda [boyfriend] and rachel [the girlfriend] were shopping. tessa [cupid] shot amanda and yaisyah [a girl walking behind them] and then when rachel went to see this handbag/pair of shoes, amanda and yaisyah saw each other and hugged.
then we were allowed to say these words: why, im sorry and oh well
so
rachel to amanda: why? WHY?!
amanda: im sorry
rachel: WHY??!!!
then rachel goes to the god [me] who was sitting on the table above them

23/40 for science and 28/40 for maths which is so much better than what i expected
cause during science after 10 minutes, i just gave up and i wasnt even at my 2nd open-ended question yet. but then i remembered what coach have been telling us- that you wont know unless you try and to perservere.
so then i struggled to complete the paper, hoping that i could get 10/40
didnt have much confidence in myself that day
so yup
im so surprised i scored above class average
and maths WOW
i scored higher than the previous exam which i studied more for.
anyway like dammit lah
mrs hoy minused like 1 and a half to three marks from like every single number pattern question cause i didnt write the workings.
quite stupid you know.
could have gotten 31 or 32
and why the heck do we need workings for simple number sequences?
oh well...
i shall do better in the final-year examination then :D
then during geography
she said we'll get our papers next geog lesson

anyway, today's enrichent pe was super fun :D we played tag rugby. haha we were like laughing the whole time cause it was pretty funny esp when having to pull one of the tags out from the person holding the rugby. and ya. i think rachel's team beat us by quite alot but not really very sure though
then after enrichment pe i went to ask mrs sew to excuse me from last week's swimming [ugh] cause of my wound and she said okay. she looked kinda disgusted with it too...cause it looks like fungi with cotton wool. yup very disgusting.

then i won taitee twice today =D but once was cause jingyi helped me abit towards the end

and after school we had that class com workshop thing
i wanted to train instead but i had ardy paid. so me and viola and tessa went to that workshop . quite funny at first but then after that when we went to our classes it was bo-ring.
and when [finally] during break, we went to munchy donut..bought strawberry. well the break was meant to be only 10-15 minutes but we took like, what, 30 minutes? and they were playing treasure's hunt or something
after playing a few other games THEN the workshop finally ended..at 6pm. seemed like forever. and it was totally boring la. lols
and then we went to get our bags from the void deck; training looked pretty slack to me
and anyway only 5 people were training today
and instead of 3 trainings this week, its changed to only one- on wednesday
same day as the dammit stupid swimming bronze test larh
should i be glad or sad?

havent been posting for what- more than a week
new record :D
yup and the reason's cause of all the cas and trainings and my brother has been hogging the comp lately
oh wait, before i forget
HAPPY NATIONAL DAY TO ALL!
i totally flunked the science paper on tues. actually after 5 mins i sort of gave up on that stupid paper, but then i made myself complete the whole thing no matter what. i underestimated the maths paper on monday, so i didnt have enough time to complete it. foolish me
literature was fine.
geog was like a piece of cake
whoooo
hahah i expected to do very badly in geog and better in maths
but no, instead, it's the other way round
anyway, last thursday was napfa which went quite well for me except for that stupid fall in shuttle run
i fell on the concrete ground, then cause i couldnt stop myself, i was sliding.
on my left knee
so there was this really open wound about 4-5cm wide and 3cm long
and it was bleeding and bleeding
so after the office put the bandage and stuff for me, i went back to retake the shuttle run cause i didnt complete it cause of my fall
and my timing was 11.5
wasted la
0.1 second away from A
but thats actually quite okay considering i sort of jogged the shuttle run and i slowed down towards the end.
nevertheless, i achieved my gold :)
and yesterday was carnival day
it was fun :DD
well 1e4 did balloon sculpture and braiding of hair
and the balloons were popping and bursting every minute when we were setting up our stall
HAHAH
then i went to 1e2 stall which was spin the wheel
i was their FIRST customer
so half of their class was like spin the wheel! spin the wheel!
so i spinned [??]
AND I GOT GRAND PRIZE!
WHOO HOO
so i got this small lamb/sheep
then carissa and preya was like WHAT?! YOU GOT GRAND PRIZE?
then andria secretly took a few fruit plus from their class container thing and gave them to me
haha
then after that our braiding of hair only had one customer so we had to sell all the clips and combs and all that stuff away
but our sculptures were quite sellable
then we watched battle of bands which was quite nice
and i bought milo dinosaur which was sort of diluted.. but i was thirsty :x
then after that i bought 2 more bandung...1 for 50cents at first
then 10 mins later when i went back to that same stall, they were selling them for 20cents =.=
i cant remember what else happened, so after we cleared up, they gave us our national day "gift"...the pilot pen with tkgs national day 2007 on it
quite cool actually
anyway, in total we made about 30 plus $$
alot of the money contributed by our retiring [but still coming back to teach] fm, mr ho
you know mr ho's like damn nice
he bought this ballon from us for 5 bucks
then he returned the balloon to us
then he bought another for 2 bucks
then he returned it to us again
then he bought sushi, lollipops and lots of food and gave them all to us
then he went to play this game i think
and then he gave the prize to us
like how nice la
and all this happened when i was at our stall
and i was at our stall for only like 20% of the time
the rest of the time when i wasnt there, i bet he gave us even more stuff
his only excuse was that he didnt have anywhere to put all the things he buy
lols
so yah
oh mrs kong is also retiring
i thought she was kinda still young...haha
and from next week onwards, training's 3 times a week
like ugh
and oh ya we finally got our socks
took a hundred years to get them =.=
AND i went to popular yesterday on my way home and asked 2 shops whether they sold eclipse [released 7 august] and they said no
they said it'll only be coming [to singapore] during mid september
quite unfair
have to wait soo long

CONGRATS TO CDIV FOR EMERGING NATIONAL CHAMPIONS :D
well the finals were yesterday at kallang against nanyang girls
i kinda thought the match would be very exciting cause ny is one of the strong schools in softball, but it turned out quite...a normal match. ny is the only school that standard was almost like tk, esp their throwing and pitching.
however their coach is like.....
unreasonable and strict and rude
during the match, like 2nd or 3rd inning, someone had 2 strikes but the umpire said it was ardy 3 strikes. so they went to check the scoresheet and then he agreed that it was 2 strikes and not 3. but then the ny coach just HAD to disagree and he shouted that it was unfair?
i just heard him shouting to the umpire, saying that how come he believed our scoring but thought ny's scoresheet was inaccurate.
THEN MRS ANG TREATED US TO ICE CREAM :D
anyway, when the match ended and they were done taking pictures, i overheard [okay i was eavesdropping] coach telling ms wang things about what ny's coach said about our school.
she was talking in chinese so i dont really know how to translate the exact words, but the conversation between coach jo and ny's coach must have been SOMETHING LIKE THAT:
ny: i thought your pitcher very fast?
coach telling ms wang: then during the third innning he had nothing to say.
cause someone told me that during the semis our pitcher used alot of energy during the first few innings, then didnt have alot of energy to pitch during the last few innings
FROM WHAT I HEARD.
then, coach also said that ny's coach always kinda insulted our school for a few years, but then that day after cdiv beat them, their coach shudup-ed
and instead, started insulting other schools.
i also overheard ny's coach telling ny softballers that they werent mg, they were ny.
that means he was saying that ny's standard was way higher than mg.
seriously, he has no sportsmanship

anyway, fast forward to today.
i pulled my socks up super super high cause ms chan wanted to check my socks after being caught yesterday.
but then i couldnt find ms chan
so it was like quite toot la, having the socks pulled up soo high
then literature exam was okay...
duing recess did some throwing again, which sort of needs brushing up on
after school me and celia had to help out with napfa... the sports and vice-sports captains had to help out.
me and celia and fatin and some other girl and xaerl and jiahui [they felt like helping] were in charge of inclined pull-up.
im never going to that teacher tomorrow during napfa.
she is like SO strict lah
i see people struggling so hard but, no mercy.
