wednesday:
light training for thursday's match.
ended up training full training

thursday:
just completed all our warmup for the game when it started raining
what a pity, cause we were so prepared at that moment and there was this kind of atmosphere
so we went in to 1e3 for a talk
game postponed to friday

friday:
tkgs vs ahs
this batch was pretty okay. seriously.
and you know what? we lost.
it was a terrible game.
10 rounds of duckwalk cause coach was damn angry at us
maybe post about it another day if i feel like talking bout it
ruined our senior's reputation

saturday:
right now im doing my zuo wen.

im actually using the online chinese-english dictionary cause my electronic one ran out of battery

well during recess we were sitting around, waiting for our seniors jerseys
then kazuki got so impatient she suddenly went, "when are we gonna get our jerseys?! so near yet so far!"
haha. it was damn funny at that point of time.
cause the jerseys were right behind us but we had to wait until before the game to get our jerseys

i borrowed elli's jersey top and huiwen's slacks for the game

batting: first inning i got a walk cause i got hit by the ball.
second inning i got striked out

was replaced by farah for batting after that.

second inning of fielding:
once, i went to cover 3rd base.
then the ball didnt come
so i walked back to my original position
coach saw and she went ^%#&**^%$ and immediately pulled me out of the field
and she let some other person go in
then she made me walk rounds and rounds around the field, swinging my elbows until i was happy
on my eighth round, coach asked me to stop and think about why she asked me to walk 7-8 rounds around the field.
and while "thinking" i watched the game
and there was a fly ball out to outfield
i was like -gasp- cause if i didnt walk maybe i could have attempted to catch that ball
then that batter would have been out
then i would have been able to at least do something in outfield
but noo, i had to freaking walk.
after the game,
a loooooong scolding from her
there was a list of mistakes we did and the list was more than a page long :O
yeah she wasnt very happy with our performance
then we did base running

man the game was..kinda sucky. for many of us i mean.
even though we won.

Yesterday's training was the worst training ever.
not kidding.

it started off with me not being able to find my glove, shoebag and tumbler.
which is practically everything i need for training
cause i remember putting it on the trolley i was pushing to the storeroom on monday after training, and then after pushing all the trolleys in and the storeroom was locked and the key was returned, i remembered my stuff were inside.
so i thought that i'd find it before our next training.
but then yesterday i couldnt find it anywhere, not even in the locker.
so after warmup i had to tell coach and ask her whether i could go and check the storeroom again
she let me go and check, surprisingly.
i thought she'd yell at me for being irresponsible and make me round 10 rounds around the school or something
then i couldnt find it so diyanna offered to lend me her glove -thankyou diyanna!-
had to train in school shoes -ugh!- and tumbler-less
and i wasnt used to using diyanna's glove cause it was new and much bigger than my own glove
then we did fielding.
i didnt trust the glove. i dont know why.
and when i didnt trust the glove i couldnt catch cause i was afraid of the ball.
which sucked like shit.
cause once i didnt dare to stretch out to catch that flyball and my right hand was getting ready to cover so the ball hit my right hand
then coach zhang made me do pushups
after doing pushups coach zhang didnt believe i did 100 pushups cause she didnt believe i could do them so quickly
truth was that i did extra pushups.
then during water break coach zhang noticed that i wasnt wearing boots and she asked me why.
i was too busy crying i couldnt explain the full story to her so she thought i was lying.
she thought i was LYING.
that really sucks.
seriously.
cause i only managed to explain that i lost it in the storeroom then she didnt believe that i would lose my things in the storeroom
apparently she didnt know that the cleaners or someone hid away all of the softballers' stuff.
and its not like i could tell her that at the point of time right.
so she made me check everywhere again and if i couldnt find my stuff i had to go and tell ms terry.
that was so sucky.
she must have thought i didnt bring my stuff and made up some kind of excuse instead, thats why she wanted me to report to ms terry.
so after checking the lockers i went to the office to report
the lady asked me to fill in a form and she'll give it to mdm khoo
so i went back to the field and coach zhang was surprised that i actually reported to the general office.
obviously she really thought it was all a big fat lie
and we did fielding.
the ones where you stand damn near to her and she'll throw to you all kinds of fast balls
the ones where you had to react quickly.
it was scary :o but fun[:
too bad i couldnt really catch properly partially due to the glove
one ball hit lydia on the chest, near where the heart is *ouch*
could even hear the 'thump'

then did batting.
then coach zhang wanted us to do bat swinging with terrabands
then she wanted preya to demonstrate
then another accident happened
after preya swang, the force of the terraband caused it to swing back by itself or something.
then it hit her eye
and it was bleeding like mad
blood was flowing down like non-stop from somewhere next to her eye
and it was damn scary
so while coach zhang tried to comfort her we told coach
and coach didnt have any reaction -.-
so coach asked me to go and find mrs tan who was the teacher in charge for yesterday
and i tried calling her so many times but no one answered
and i tried calling ms tay and mrs malvina lim too but no one answered
so i went back and ahwong said to go to the general office to tell whoever that was there
then i said that mdm khoo was the one in the office
but i went anyway.
then i came back with mdm khoo and ohmygosh i was so busted.
coach was damn mad.
cause when the "teacher's not in we're not supposed to be trained"
and if i told mdm khoo then we're in trouble
like its freaking my fault that the teacher wasnt in and i was trying to help someone who was bleeding so damn badly that she needed to go to the clinic for stitches and coach was the one who asked me to go call the teacher and the captain asked me to go to the general office
so she yelled at me
she was super mad.
she had never been so angry at me before, really.
thus i was accused for being too smart and being stupid.
like what FISH.
omg.
i was super pissed.
then ahwong felt guilty so she treated me to bubble tea
not like its her fault
but ohwell.
im seriously annoyed.
and yes thats how bad my day went.
oh and then she saw a ball and she yelled at me to go and pick and why didnt i pick it up when i was 'running here and there'
and the reason was cause i was running here and there what -.-
but i went to pick anyway.
she's seriously damn annoyed at me.
i dont know what im gonna do on monday.
oh wait.
and then when we were keeping equipment winston(security guard) said that he saw my stuff on the floor when he came to school in the morning
so its either that i must have placed it there instead of on the trolley or that someone must have found it and dumped it there
so im gonna get into more trouble with mdm khoo.
and if i get into trouble with mdm khoo im gonna get into trouble with coach
im in big trouble.
cause of my stuff and preya's accident
whats worse is that there's a game on monday.
if coach is still that mad she might not let me play
which is gonna be tragic

history wasnt as interesting as it usually was. maybe that's cause i was tired

went out and coach made us do bench
she excused me [surprisingly] cause of the headache
i think it's cause i stayed up last night reading

gym today was kinda slack..
went to bubble tea shop with rihanna,cristal,ruz,ahwong and fatin to study
they were playing stepup again[:
one hour passed quickly and most of us didnt get much studying done.

completed history homework and cmps anyway.

sunday:

the day started off not so well.
got up at 6am
the bus left at 6.35am, just when i was leaving the house
like dammit.
cause i either waited for the next bus, which was 6.52am or 15-minutes walk to the mrt station
i figured that if i waited for the next bus i'd be late cause i had to be at city hall by 7am
so i walked.
carrying my filled tumbler, shoe bag, glove and bat, trying to eat along the way and holding my ipod cause fbts dont have pockets
then i JUST walked past the next bus stop when the bus came.
like what? the bus was 12 minutes early.
so i rushed to the bus stop but the bus driver just drove on like he didnt freaking see me.
damn annoying i tell you
so i walked the rest of the way.
uh-huh.
first match: tkgs vs crescent girls
won with a score of 14-5 [:
coach was there, and she was supportive.
like she didnt yell at us...
she made me do pushups for that stupid strike-out though.
the strike out was so stupid.
i wasnt looking at the ball.

im sorry for that out. for not having confidence in myself during batting and not using all my strength to hit that ball.
if i hadnt got out in the third inning we could have scored one more run.
which means that we would have won
well actually,
it was a tie. 6-6
so we played another inning
when nanhua was fielding, the weather was fine.
but when we were fielding, it started raining SUPER heavily.
like so damn heavy, those kind of rain with thunderstorms
so kazuki couldnt pitch cause the ball was soaked
which is really unfair to us cause we're affected and they're not.
so unfair.
so they all got walks cause kazuki could only pitch balls to them.
so unfair.
they should have postponed the game when it started raining.
but then umpire number 1 wanted to postpone the game or pause it
but umpire number 2 said that the guys team were still playing so we should continue
kazuki found out later from her cousin that the guys team were still playing cause WE were still playing
like ohmygoshh.
ahhhhhhhhhh
if it wasnt raining we so would have won
stupid right.
dammit.
now we didnt get into the semi-finals.
and i think we're like the only batch of tkcdiv who didnt get into finals or semi-finals.
SAD.

then ate lunch with rury, preya, fatin, ruzanna and juniors at burger king
i lost my batting glove again

but then later i couldnt find it.

didnt wanna go to school cause:

but i went to school cause:

2) i was too lazy to get MC
3) i would have to go to school for training anyway

anyway after school had science remedial.

it was really boring.
worse than usual science lessons cause science periods are 50minutes but remedial is 1hour 15 minutes
much worse.
and i didnt know that all the classes were combined together.
and when i went in, i went to tick my name

i got home at 11pm cause i waiting nearly an hour for the buses i took

weird huh. describing training as cool though i had to do extra weights.
when we were batting wafer balls, coach zhang suddenly called my name and asked me to do weights.
not the blue or green weights but those super heavy 5-10kg ones.
and i had to do it alone cause there was only one
then we did fielding in the void deck :D
so cool.
those kind where you have to stretch like mad to get the ball then throw to the fence

and then she wanted to eat dessert so she practically gave us a tour around the whole of bugis

cause the shop she wanted to go was like 10km away

anyway, shared mango ice shaving with strawberry ice-cream with her(:

was nice lah. but she didnt have to bring us all the way to the other side of bugis just to eat dessert :D

then we went to sakae sushi for lunch, but they didnt have the buffet so we ended up eating at food junction

the chicken rice had alot of msg. super salty

and ahwong started doing something really weird.

then went to orchard shaw house to watch stepup 2's preview with my sister(:
cause she got free tickets from singapore dance theatre or something
anyway, its not a series from stepup 1, which was surprising
remember the main actor? and the main actress from stepup1?
yeah the main actor was a super minor part and the main actress didnt even act in the show
instead they got new casts
its about this girl whose mum passed away a few months ago cause of cancer
and then she's living with her mum's best friend
she joined this street gang, 410
and she skips school all the time
they're always up to mischieve and they dance hiphop really really well
then they played a prank in the mrt and the station
and her guradian found out cause it was on the news and she said she was going to send her 'back to texas'
so she goes partying with 410 and she meets her childhood friend who is in the school of arts (which is the main actor is stepup1) and the childhood friend helps to convince her guardian to give her another chance
and so she goes to school of arts for tryouts
she gets in.
she meets this guy, who later she finds out is the school of art's principal's brother or something
they form a crew to take part in the streets competition to beat 410
and blahblah
they fall in love
and stuff.
but she got expelled cause 410 vandalised the studio and the principal thought she was involved
but then the principal saw her dancing and beating 410 so she got back into th school
and stuff

during the game we made lots of noise :D way way way better than yesterday's
we were much more confident, determined and united today compared to yesterday's
maybe it's very partially due to the fact that only coach zhang was there during the time that we were playing, so there was less tension and we wouldnt get picked on for everything we do
they scored a few during the first inning, but they werent really strong.
kazuki pitched a few awesome balls :D that's the way shouchun!(:
anisa's catching was a little rough during the first inning but she became less tense after that (:
covering of bases was good, lots of teamwork :D
i think the only mistake we made during fielding was that one fly ball when shortstop and third base didnt call
but we were okay other than that (:
batting was much, much better than yesterday's too
preya almost hit a home-run, she got to 3rd base :DDD
melwong and someone else though i forgot who hit a nice ball too (:
during the first inning of batting, i hit a ball that was a little high. and i went for the ball, so i didnt manage to send it out.
second inning, i let the ball come and didnt try to hit when the ball wasnt in the strike zone [: but there was one ball that i could hit which i missed.
anyway i managed a walk to first base
third inning fielding was awesome, we didnt let any of the batters to the bases :D got 3 out quickly
great job guys :D
communication is the key
anyway, when the game was ending coach arrived
then we were happy and stuff after the game and she told us it's just one game so we cant be too complacent and stuff.
the feeling was great anyway, since it's our first win as a team(:

i turned away first and tried to hit when the ball wasnt freaking in the strike zone.
in srcs, its only 2 strikes instead of 3.
so i got striked out.
first time, i didnt eye the ball. plus i turned away. i dont even know what crap i was doing man.
second time, i thought it was in the strike zone. but it ended up below the strike zone.
so i ran to first but got out. duh.
coach zhang was %*(^%$*(&^%(#@
she put me out and ruzanna replaced me.
which meant no more fielding or batting for me.
i was damn mad at myself.
dammit.

i think we didnt even play 5 innings cause there wasnt enough time.
so yes, we lost, 14-6.
it's really disappointing.
and you know what? we lost cause of silly mistakes. not because we suck alot or anything.

today during home econs we cooked mushroom risotto and longan almond jelly and both turned out well :D
especially since its our first time cooking mushroom risotto.

it was great not to have training/gym today.

okay. yesterday's training.
it was raining like mad. even the path at the void deck was kinda flooded.
coach was like, since its raining so heavily, you all do gym today and train tomorrow.
i was like, aww. cause then i wouldnt have a day free this week.
but everyone was happy since training was postponed.
well anyway. coach said we just do weights and steps then we can go.
obviously we knew she'd stretch it till its almost full training.
so yah after steps when we were supposed to go home, she punished us 100 pushups for not keeping 2 bats on wednesday
then she wanted us to do catching for the pitchers.
and it was horrible.
cause most of us never caught pitcher's balls before and its very unpredictable.
and fast.
lets just say i got yelled at a number of times
and after like 5 sets, coach zhang took over and everyone went *phew*
cause even though her drills are harder she's less strict or demanding in a way
and she batted the balls to us.
in the void deck.
then coach told us to just train full training since it was quite late by then.
so yeah.
oh joy!
finally got some sleep today, had time to watch tv, study and start on holiday homework.

cause holidays are going to be the opposite of holidays.

hello.
i just completed heymath and i got 4/5.
cause i forgot the formula for one of the questions and i was so smart, i didnt bring my textbook home just because i didnt want my bag to be heavy.
ohwell.
also got back geog papers today [like finally] and got 12/20 which is really sucky.
but then, 1/3 of the class failed.
so i scored an overall of 64 for term 1
which is bad.

science was free period again, so we practised cheerleading
and during maths, i was so tired i just stoned there for like 10 minutes.
i thought of sleeping for the whole period.
then i did one question and suddenly, BAM
the math spirit was back.
funny lah.
so i completed my homework during class. surprisingly.
training:

coach zhang kinda chose our positions already. kind of.
as in she was trying it out.
she was wondering whether she should put anisa or rury for the catcher, then decided to test all of us instead.
except for preya and lydia who were shortstop
so coach zhang pitch/tossed to us.
then i missed the ball.
how hilarious.
so she asked me to go to shortstop.
funny la.
such a simple ball and i missed it. probably cause of the tension.
anyway, so our positions were:
catcher: rury
first base: mel wong
second base: lydia
third base: anisa
short stop: preya
right field: me
center field: ruzanna
left field: cristal
and yah.
then coach zhang asked the outfielders to bat then the infielders field.
i got striked out the first time.

i got striked out the third time. no wait.
actually, the third time i think it was a foul. or maybe fly ball. i cant remember.
anyway it was so dumb.
cause i turned away and drop bat so i couldnt even contact the ball.
anyway managed to hit a few in the end.
then once, i hit to somewhere near third base. i thought it was foul, but i ran to first anyway.
i thought i'd be out by then cause i didnt see how far or near it went.
so i stopped at first base but heard coach zhang shouting runrunrun!
i thought she was talking to the fielders.
so i didnt really listen.
then she was so mad at me.
like supersuper mad.
cause i was being too smart and not listening to instructions.
ya the usual lah.
luckily it wasnt coach though- she would have punished me severely or chased me aside or asked me to pack up and go home or something like that :o
anyway.
then everyone did batting.
got hit by the ball when coach zhang tossed. maybe it was intentional cause i was missing all the damn balls.
or maybe it was an accident.
but anyway, when coach came and yelled at i cant remember who, i got so scared.
then when it was my turn to bat i didnt miss the balls :o
i need to change my mindset.
and then another long talk with coach zhang.
and something unexpected happened.
she said i was smart. :o
she has only said that i never used brain and that im not following instructions, but never the word, smart.
and why? cause she said how its a progessive society and you need to grab the opportunity when it comes and blahblah, be initiative and stuff.
and how if you want to improve, you cant wait for the coaches to ask you to go and bat or throw or whatever. then she said that i wanted to bat more than 5 balls when it was my turn, which was " being smart" according to her.
truth was that i lost count while batting.
so i stood there, wondering whether i should run to first.
then she thought i was being smart.
LOL.
